TODAY IF YE WILL HEAR HIS VOICE…

This verse goes on to say “harden not your heart, as in the day of provocation, as the day of temptation in the wilderness.” For in order to hear the voice of the LORD there has to be an open pliable heart. A heart that is willing to be in a state of possible unknowing for a time symbolized by the wilderness. Each day we have opportunity to reside in a heart state that can be characterized by attitudes of thankfulness, appreciation, patience and PRAISE (TAPP). As we do it gives us a greater opportunity to hear what is required of us in every given moment. Here we can come out of the wilderness and into the state of harmonized expression with the LORD.

HOLINESS BECOMETH THINE HOUSE

Going inside the spirit of these words leads us to the sacred silence that fills our soul with complete peace. As we do, our soul becomes a house that is whole and true. How this is done is by daily practice. Our house becomes whole over time. When we take note of the times when we have not been whole because of our response to the things of this world it serves to provide a correction. As we correct our responsive attention to that which brings wholeness it serves to continue to build a firm foundation for sustained true expression. As we make the corrections in love for the soul that we have rather than being mad at ourselves it also serves to move us forward. Holiness becometh our house as we continue to orient to the place that fills us with peace and oneness.

TO SHEW FORTH THY LOVINGKINDNESS IN THE MORNING…

Everyday, really every moment, we have an opportunity to show forth the lovingkindness of the LORD. As I think about what it means to show forth lovingkindness in the morning I understand it to mean that in the early part of every moment I am positioned to provide that which is kind, that which blends and provides the integration of the oneness of love with all I am with. As I take note of the disturbances that have rocked my soul whereby dissipating this kindness I affirm deeper the need to abide in a place that is spiritually ready. I see the need to continually position my heart in a spirit of complete thankfulness for the gift to be alive in form for the opportunity to bring the kingdom of heaven on earth. As I position my heart  accordingly I see how I can shift my mental perspective from the things that have irritated me to a perspective of opportunity. Here is a realization of active fulfillment.

THY TESTIMONIES ARE VERY SURE: HOLINESS BECOMETH THINE HOUSE, O LORD, FOR EVER

As we position ourselves in perfect gratefulness and silence before the LORD we allow the sure house of the LORD to be made evident through us. Here we are whole and true.

A moment or two each day to bring this to focus in ourselves allows us to then be able to serve our worlds. Here I am led more to consider the words, “If I be lifted up…”

As, all we are with, are drawn up with us there comes an increasing influence of the LORD’s house on earth.

Space set apart brings a coherence within that allows for all of our world to be made whole.

SURELY HE SHALL DELIVER THEE FROM THE SNARE OF THE FOWLER

There is much to consider here for grace and stature to be known in our experience. A fowler is cited  as one who traps unsuspecting birds. The snare of the fowler in reference to  this psalm verse gives light to encouraging us to be aware of being entrapped by our own thoughts or the thoughts of others that cause us to feel small, confused, discouraged, angry, ineffective, wanting etc. Basically, the thoughts of the world that call to make us feel ashamed, fearful, hateful and greedy. How not to be entrapped or ensnared by them is a vital consideration and can take many forms that are unique to each of us.

One way I have been finding helpful is to keep in mind the words welcome and cherish. Here is what I mean. Whenever something arises that causes an unsettled feeling  whether it is when I am alone for with others I intentionally hold an attitude of welcome as soon as I realize what is happening. That something is amiss. Simply taking this attitude allows me to be in the moment which then brings to my awareness, WOW WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY TO BRING SOMETHING OF PEACE AND JOY. Here I affirm in my heart the appreciation and the cherishment for the opportunity I have at hand to grow and more importantly to provide an influence into the world that blesses rather than curses.

I further think to CHERISH THE PROCESS. Here I know sometimes things take a little time where the realization of what to do or how to master this situation is not readily apparent. There has to be a patience with it even though it may feel very uncomfortable and let alone a challenge to actually cherish this process. However just positioning my soul in such a way I find allows for something to happen that does bring a realization of what is required step by step or completely.

I wish to share this with you all in the light also of being mindful when we are being ensnared by our own thoughts or the thoughts of this world and how to remain free that brings an experience of a pure heart, loving spirit, understanding mind and giving actions.

AND LET THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD OUR GOD BE UPON US: AND ESTABLISH THE WORK OF OUR HANDS…

“Yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” This is how this psalm verse ends. As we orient in this way it brings an awareness that allows for a priority to be placed on the work that we do. Really the work we are designed to do. However, it is not a matter of just doing the work. It is a matter of allowing the beauty of the Lord to descend upon and through  all that we do and how we do our work. This is that special something that brings to our work a quality of grace, poise and brilliance. Here, we do become a light unto this world that all hearts and minds truly long for as an example for all to know the beauty of the Lord in and through their own living and work.

HIS THRONE AS THE SUN BEFORE ME

As I consider these words I find an experience of illumination. His throne as the sun before me. Isn’t it wonderful to have a sensing of what these words mean? In this day celebrated as Easter let us consider and know more how the spirit of these words can lead us into a communion with His throne brightly before us. As we do I sense we will be filled full to overflowing. Here we become one in the Throne extending its brightness into our worlds.
