AND LET THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD OUR GOD BE UPON US: AND ESTABLISH THE WORK OF OUR HANDS…

“Yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” This is how this psalm verse ends. As we orient in this way it brings an awareness that allows for a priority to be placed on the work that we do. Really the work we are designed to do. However, it is not a matter of just doing the work. It is a matter of allowing the beauty of the Lord to descend upon and through  all that we do and how we do our work. This is that special something that brings to our work a quality of grace, poise and brilliance. Here, we do become a light unto this world that all hearts and minds truly long for as an example for all to know the beauty of the Lord in and through their own living and work.

  1. Reorienting in this Way, the Lords Way, when out of practice does take a little extra something, following a day of pondering, that special something extra, it isn’t what most would assume.
It doesn’t require more trying, will, repetitions, or more reaffirming. It does require more letting, yielding, stillness. and a deep abiding recognition of the moment, and the fact that its the only moment like it, we’ll ever have, so cherish it and bring forth more abundance, through leveraging it’s beauty, with grace and poise that the brilliance is felt, and the calm moves even deeper!

  2. Yes, Joshua it does take practice. Your words are right in line with this week’s post.
