Our life is designed to find out the place where the natural expression of integrity is known. A natural expression that brings ease and fulfillment. This place is a state of being of heart, mind and body, our temporal soul. When we come to point in realizing that what we experience is emitted into the world we can recognize a responsibility to add something that can be known as a place for the Lord. A place where peace, perspective and love can emanate from within outward. As we do hold our thoughts and feelings accountable in this way we acknowledge something more than just being responsible. We acknowledge our greatest love from which all things all happiness springs. The choice is ours.
THOU SHALT SEE THE GOOD OF JERUSALEM ALL THE DAYS OF THY LIFE
The good of Jerusalem is the good of the life activities all about you. As we are centered in the place where peace can flood through our hearts we can see what is actually good. Good in terms of that which is abundantly filled with joy, with strength and with decency. Sure enough we may have thoughts that waft through our minds that are aberrant and off the mark but we do not have to pay attention to them. Think of them as just debris floating down the river. We can see it but do not have to jump on and drown with it. Just let it pass on through. The more we are centered in our right places the quicker the debris can pass because to do not judge it or be offended by it. Just let it go. As we do so our attention is available to appreciate the true life activities around us in which we can assist in enhancing. As we do so we shall see good all the days of our life.
EXCEPT THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE, THEY LABOUR IN VAIN THAT BUILD IT
Such simple words to guide our living. Let’s look deeper into what they mean. Letting the Lord build our house relates to letting our relationships be designed by His creativity by His patience by His perspective. Do our relationships build a surround around ourselves that gives evidence of the purposes of the Lord and of increasing the nature of His integrity on earth. As we answer these questions for ourselves we may need to let go of old things and let go to seeing what would indeed increase the nature of the Lord’s influence on earth.
