THE LORD REDEEMETH THE SOUL OF HIS SERVANTS: AND NONE OF THEM THAT TRUST IN HIM SHALL BE DESOLATE.

Isn’t it good to acknowledge this statement? As we trust in Him we will not know desolation. Desolation is such a common experience in the world today. When the experience of desolation comes into our awareness it is good to stop and reorient to trust in the LORD. I find utilizing the HeartMath methods to come back into our rightful place to be very helpful in this regard.

First is to upright ourselves knowing as the psalms also state, “unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness.” As we upright ourself and focus our feeling attention on our heart area physically and spiritually while breathing a little slower and deeper than usual  begins the process of orienting back to our trust in the LORD.  While we hold this upright breathing pattern and opening up to our love in the LORD perspective comes back into our view. We can see what is real and what is not. We can then put our feeling attention on that which matters and discount or cut off the unreal. What is real is that which fills our soul with love, that which is unreal tethers and drains. Here in a greater state of “heart coherence,” we can enjoy being in a place that fills our soul to overflowing. Here the experience of desolation dissolves as we know the joy and richness of being in our rightful place.
