THE VOICE OF THE LORD POWERFUL

As we rise up to hear the voice of the LORD we commune in His power. It has been a tendency to block ourselves off from hearing His voice because of shame and fear. Because of this we have tended to think we are  not worthy to hear His  voice or to actually do His will.  If not us then who. Each of us is here on earth to do the will of the LORD. We would not be here at this time if it was not our time to provide an unique integrated part for the LORD to have his way on earth.

In hearing the voice of the LORD I have sensed that He is calling us to come to rest in our hearts. The time is now to provide an influence of love to our own heart and mind letting the downcasting incriminating thoughts about ourselves and others be see as insignificant. And  acknowledge what is significant in our heart of hearts is to provide an influence of blessing on earth.

The voice of the LORD is powerful. Powerful to bring our heart to rest, vision to our mind and invigoration to our body in doing His will on earth. Here is our fulfillment in living. Let us listen to His voice in the power of love.

MY FOOT STANDETH IN AN EVEN PLACE: IN THE CONGREGATIONS WILL I BLESS THE LORD.

I find this verse to remind us how to be in an even place when we are challenged by stress. To be in place of evenness is to be able to have perspective to know how to respond. An even place is a place where we are not treading towards getting knocked off balance and where we can see how to move forward in facing the challenges that present themselves in our lives. An even place where we abide blessing and glorifying the LORD in and through the moments of our living with all we are with.

LET NOT PRESUMPTOUS SINS HAVE DOMINION OVER ME: THEN SHALL I BE UPRIGHT AND I SHALL BE INNOCENT OF THE GREAT TRANSGRESSION

There is much contained here.   It is good to consider the word presumptuous in the light of taking liberties that are not rightfully ours. The great transgression  is eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which is the cause of the fall of man. I find it good to consider the antonyms of presumptuous like humble, modest, unassuming and down to earth. May my words to today bring to heart more what it means to live consciously in a place that is humble and strengthening at the same time where we know our integrated place along with peace and sanity.

AND IN HIS LAW DOTH HE MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT

Today as I consider these words I have asked myself how do I meditate in his law? What has come to mind relates to keeping a thankful and appreciative heart. As I do so in all matters day and night my soul is in position to receive the positive nature of the spirit of our Lord. Here I can perceive what is true what is sound what is of wonderful law. It is good to see that the law of the Lord is something that can be wonderfully received in our heart and mind. That as it is received it gives us the peace of understanding. That it gives us a sense of assurance and of joy. Here it is our pleasure and love to meditate on his law day and night.  Continue reading “AND IN HIS LAW DOTH HE MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT”

I HAVE ORDAINED A LAMP FOR MINE ANOINTED

I find as I still myself to enter the spirit of these words something else is illuminated beyond just the surface content of them. Here an invitation is sounded for us to know the reality of trust as we work to restore the world to its natural beauty and integration. May these words  continue to open the way for each of us to play our parts in restoring the world.

THEY THAT TRUST IN THE LORD AS MOUNT ZION—

“which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.”  As the world appears in this day I find it good to acknowledge that having an orientation in the Lord brings a sense of eternity in the midst. Let’s continue to increasingly appreciate what it means to trust in the Lord as a mighty mountain that cannot be removed and abideth for ever. Let’s stand together in such representation blessing the world with largeness and strength for all to know the reality of IN GOD WE TRUST.

O HOW LOVE I THY LAW!

The wording of this psalm verse causes us to slow down to really comprehend what is being spoken here. Slow down enough to read and understand the meaning of these words. As we do a communion is experienced that goes beyond words that is wonderful and true.

UNTO THE UPRIGHT THERE ARISETH LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS…

As we are interested to remain upright in all our circumstances especially those that may seem dark we are given the assurance that all will be well. In each moment we can choose to be upright letting whatever cycles and seasons work out for a greater light and glory to be known. Let us rest in the assurance of being upright.

TODAY IF YE WILL HEAR HIS VOICE…

This verse goes on to say “harden not your heart, as in the day of provocation, as the day of temptation in the wilderness.” For in order to hear the voice of the LORD there has to be an open pliable heart. A heart that is willing to be in a state of possible unknowing for a time symbolized by the wilderness. Each day we have opportunity to reside in a heart state that can be characterized by attitudes of thankfulness, appreciation, patience and PRAISE (TAPP). As we do it gives us a greater opportunity to hear what is required of us in every given moment. Here we can come out of the wilderness and into the state of harmonized expression with the LORD.
