MANY THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS: BUT THE LORD DELIVERETH HIM OUT OF THEM ALL

We may seem to be afflicted at times seemingly with many. As we do turn to the Lord in coming to rest before him knowing in this stance all is well we do receive deliverance. Deliverance that is not nebulous rather very specific and concrete. We may find we are delivered by something we happen to read, or see or with someone we have a conversation with. Deliverance of the Lord can come in a multitude and a variety of ways. If we have turned to the Lord in knowing and acknowledging His presence wonders are at hand if we open our eyes to them. Yes, come to rest in the Lord and open your eyes to His blessings at hand.

HE THAT TRUSTETH IN THE LORD, MERCY SHALL COMPASS HIM ABOUT

Trust in the Lord and you shall be surrounded with protection and benevolence. How do we trust? We trust by bringing our heart to rest by cultivating and establishing thankfulness in our attitudes along with an openness to what the Lord is guiding you to provide of His Spirit. As our hearts are at rest in a thankful attitude to be able live in form on earth our sense of gratefulness to fulfill our God given commission will open our minds to moving in the paths we are designed to move in. As we love the opportunity to live on earth to glorify the Lord we know the a trust that is sound and a mercy that is abundant. An abundant mercy given and to be extended through us.

MY FOOT STANDETH IN AN EVEN PLACE…

Our feet have been related to our understanding. As our understanding resides in an even place a place where there are not extremes a place where there is balanced understanding then we can view our worlds with perspective. A perspective that brings a balance in living.

LOOK UPON MINE AFFLICTION AND MY PAIN; AND FORGIVE ALL MY SINS (AS I FORGIVE ALL SINS)

Yes, God has the power to forgive sins provided we forgive. As we forgive ourselves for things we may have done and as we we forgive others for what they may have done then the power of God can go to work to address and alleviate the afflictions or pains we may have. The power is present for healing to occur. We just need to position ourselves so that power is received and given through us. As God looks upon us we need to look upon  others. Remember we are made in the image and likeness of God to keep and dress His garden.

RECEIVE THE BLESSING FROM THE LORD

The blessings of the Lord are constantly being given to us. It is how we position ourselves that allows us to receive the blessings. Positioning ourselves relates an attitude or a “turning to the Lord.” When we turn to the Lord we are to have an attitude of reverence, humility and an openness  that allows for the Lord to come into our hearts and minds. As we position ourselves in a right way we will know it. We will know an infilling as we keep a clear tranquil respectful space before  the Lord. Simply by articulating words with care and respect for the Lord to the Lord we will create a space for the Lord to come and be received into our hearts and minds. As we do this we will know that we are receiving the blessings of the Lord. It is not a complicated thing and is readily available for those who turn rightly in reverence and respect.

23RD PSALM 2-3-3-3-2 COUNT

The LORD is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;

thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

THY ROD AND THY STAFF THEY COMFORT ME

Sometimes we may need the discipline of the rod to come our senses so we can more fully appreciate the gentle touch of the staff of the Lord. Either way the Lord is always with us. As we do discipline ourselves that we may know more continually the beauty of His love we treasure the life we do have. Rest in His love.
