I would say these words say it all. Let’s be true to them.
THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS CLEAN, ENDURING FOREVER
Fear in reference to the Lord can be viewed as honor and reverence. As we honor and revere the Lord in our highest sensing we can know the clean freshness of being with the Lord. This is our choice. If instead we default to bowing down before the void described as the prince of this world we will consequently know a muddy and putrid experience that no shower can ever clean. Bowing down to being depressed or discouraged by what is lacking in our worlds is sign we are defaulting. Giving thanks for what is present in our lives is lifting up our heads and giving honor and reverence to that which encourages and blesses. Again the choice is ours.
LET THE GOD OF MY SALVATION BE EXALTED
The God of our salvation is always providing salvation. As we recognize and acknowledge this our God is exalted. And with that we are too!
IT IS GOD THAT GIRDETH ME WITH STRENGTH, AND MAKETH MY WAY PERFECT
Our strength is known when our heart is oriented in a way that is honest and honoring of that which is of God. Honoring the decency of God brings enrichment to oneself as we share the character of God. As we do so our way is made perfect.
I WAS ALSO UPRIGHT BEFORE HIM, AND I KEPT MYSELF FROM MINE INIQUITY
As we stay upright we can act with wisdom knowing what is right and what is wrong. Here we can see things that may arise in ourselves that are of impropriety. And we can see it for the unworthiness that it is and choose rightly. Each us of is in the world to make straight the paths of the Lord. How that is done first is through ourselves without the need to point any fingers.
THE LORD IN WHOM I WILLTRUST; MY BUCKLER AND THE HORN OF MY SALVATION
As our trust in put in the right direction we find confidence and a way through challenges ultimately knowing salvation moment by moment. Let us so step knowing the joys of fulfillment.
HOLD UP MY GOINGS IN THY PATHS
When we are mindful of moving in the paths of the Lord we can move through our lives with sure footedness. As we keep in mind that the Lord is constantly looking to provide His way through each of us gives a sense of value and worth. Being so cognizant makes for a meaningful and directed life.
HE IS AT MY RIGHT HAND, I SHALL NOT BE MOVED
When we are with the Lord we know the power of His nature. No aberration of this world can then move us from abiding in peace and confidence. Even though our awareness of this may wax and wane we may know a continual confidence that stems from the Lord while we live in this world.
THE LINES ARE FALLEN UNTO ME IN PLEASANT PLACES
When we are in the right place spiritually the lines of God fall upon us in ways that delight our souls. To be in the right place spiritually means we are acknowledging the privilege of living with thanks and praise!!!
HE WILL EVER BE MINDFUL OF HIS COVENANT
No matter what occurs keeping in mind the depth of spiritual agreement that is inborn in each of us will keep us moving wisely through our lives. Whether things seems to be good or not too good acknowledging our covenant sets the tone for a honorable life.
