MAKE ME TO HEAR JOY AND GLADNESS

Positioning ourselves to hear joy and gladness takes some intentional work. Personally, I have found utililzing a Heartmath HRV sensor to help in this process. Every morning I attach the sensor to my ear as I meditate on a psalm verse while I do some light exercise. The HRV sensor picks up my heart rate variability which is a reading of the time sequence between each heart beat. The more there is a healthy variability of time sequences between each heart beat the more we are in a position be in an optimal nervous system state called coherence. The sensor will tell by the sounds it gives off if we are in an optimal state of coherence or in a low state of coherence. When we entrain our nervous system to be in this high coherent state it allows us to recieve the sweet essences of the beauty of love. Here we can hear the essences that bring joy and gladness to  our heart.

There is much more to be learned in this respect. Consider contacting me to learn more.

HE THAT DOETH THESE THINGS SHALL NEVER BE MOVED!

Psalm 15 lays out how to abide  in the LORD’s tabernacle and dwell in His holy hill.

Consider the following in the depth of your heart:

He that walketh uprightly.

He that worketh righteousness.

He that speaketh the truth in his heart.

He that backbiteth not with his tongue.

nor doeth evil to his neighbour,

nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour,

nor putteth out his money to usury

nor taketh reward against the innocent.

I find these are great keys here to know more what it takes to constantly experience the joy and peace of abiding in the LORD’s tabernacle and dwelling in His holy hill.

AND IN HIS LAW DOTH HE MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT

Today as I consider these words I have asked myself how do I meditate in his law? What has come to mind relates to keeping a thankful and appreciative heart. As I do so in all matters day and night my soul is in position to receive the positive nature of the spirit of our Lord. Here I can perceive what is true what is sound what is of wonderful law. It is good to see that the law of the Lord is something that can be wonderfully received in our heart and mind. That as it is received it gives us the peace of understanding. That it gives us a sense of assurance and of joy. Here it is our pleasure and love to meditate on his law day and night.  Continue reading “AND IN HIS LAW DOTH HE MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT”

THY LAW MY DELIGHT

When we have found the law of the Lord our delight  wonders open in our experience. The wonders of living a life that is infused by the the spirit of the Lord. For this it truly brings a gratefulness in heart and a gladness for living.

LET THE EARTH BE GLAD PSLAM 96

Let the earth be glad relates to letting our heart and minds be glad. As our minds and hearts receive the gladness of what is true and real our body’s are invigorated with life. What is real and true relates to an orientation to that which animates all the living world.

GLADNESS FOR THE UPRIGHT IN HEART

As we are upright in heart we are gifted with gladness. Being upright in heart relates to feeling grateful for the gift of life that we have. Being upright in heart relates to facing adversity with uprightness. The old adage chin up does apply here. No matter what we may be facing that may seem challenging to us if we remember to remain upright in heart we we feel a sense of gladness. Gladness for the opportunity at hand to be true to the Lord and for the  opportunity to let the Lord’s influence have its expression on earth though us. Really what more could we be glad for. For the opportunity to so serve the Lord is our commission that is what we are here for. When we are not so serving there will be a lack of gladness and a feeling of futility. There are some deep choices to be made here. And granted we may not have always kept our chin up when challenged. Know that growing in grace and stature requires an awareness of how we are expressing ourselves. It is important to recognize if our expression is true or not. When it is not it is good to take note and to return in heart to a sense of thankfulness and gratefulness for the gift of life. And  knowing that we are always instantly and completely forgiven for any lack of true expression. We must  receive that forgiveness in our own hearts and move on with our living along with seeing what it will take to keep our chin up.
