Wait upon God

There are many references regarding waiting upon God.  What  does this mean? Waiting upon God is allowing your emotions and and thoughts to come to rest as you remember your integrity. You may not know what to do in a certain situation but if you know to do this then you will set up the conditions whereby you may realize what wise action you need to  take. Waiting upon God does relate to setting up the right conditions in your heart and mind whereby you may receive that which is of God. Receiving that which is of God allows you to see  a step of action at  least that is required now. Not all of what you may need to know may be revealed to you all at once. Wait upon God in keeping your integrity is the necessary step to see what is required in your living. And as we take the steps that come  with this we realize that God has been waiting for us to do what we are here to do.

They shall prosper that love thee.

Prosperity is a sought out experience for many in this world. In ancient time prosperity was given to David for doing what he was fit to do in his love for the Lord. As we LOVE THEE we know a prosperity internally that eventually reflects itself externally as we do what we are fit to do in glorifying the Lord on earth. It is important to remain patient with the cycles and phases for this to be known not to get prosperity rather to let prosperity manifest as we know the wealth of abiding in the presence of the Lord. Such simplicity is a gift that is ours to know.

Are you with the river of God?

In the psalms there is mention of the river of God. The river that provides the life flow for all of us to join with. In looking at a river we see that in the center of it there is a flow that moves onward with consistency and with a natural force effortless seemingly. How well are we participating in the center of our lives whereby there is this same consistency and natural and effortless flow? As we open our eyes to how we can participate in the central flow of our lives this can occur. This occurs when we simply acknowledge the people closest to us and in the situations we find ourselves where we can acknowledge the central part we play in participation with others. The central part that is ours alone in concert with others that provides the life flow through all the situations that we find ourselves in. Here is the glory of God increased on earth with us included!

The LORD is my light and my salvation… Psalm 27

Such words that tell us that there is a provision that gives us light and salvation. Yes it is good to remember this in times of stress and  in times when things are going well. When things are going well it is a good time to ever strengthen our awareness that we are given the light of direction to continue in the way the brings greater salvation. So often we forget our true orientation when things are going well which invariably lands us in the place where we have to plead to the LORD for help again and again. Let’s shift this up and down experience and keep moving in a direction that brings greater strength, wisdom and the joy of living. It is as simple as giving thanks for our blessings and to see how we can extend greater blessings through our living.

In the LORD put I my trust…

What does this mean? It means that trust can be put in the LORD that centers our worlds. As we come to the centering point in our lives we remember our commission to bring the integrity of the LORD on earth.  The integrity that discerns what it takes to offer an influence into the world that blesses. That provides a sound sane light filled influence into the world. An influence that causes others to be stirred to remember the influence they are to bring. An influence that brings upliftment and reinvigoration. An influence that brings all that would come into the influence of integrity and dispels that which is not of integrity. In the LORD put I my trust does relate to letting your world be cleansed and made new bringing life and life more abundantly. So let us live.

The Beauty of the LORD our God

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us… Psalm 90

Also such beautiful words. As we enter into the spirit of them a door is opened to know a state of beauty. A state where all is in place. A state where we know ourselves. How do we let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us? By lifting up our eyes and minds and hearts acknowledging that such a presence exists and has  always existed.  As we give heed to this state we are gifted with the beauty of true peace.  Here life is worth living because as we so abide we offer this beauty and peace into the world and we so know our destiny moment by moment. Let us so live.

I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

This psalm verse strikes me particularly in the way it urges us to have a perfect heart. A perfect heart that is clear of resentment, of discouragement and of a lack of orientation. As we are oriented in the direction that brings us peace we realize that it is with a perfect heart that we may function productively in our living. A perfect heart that is filled with thankfulness and givingness to have this day to live and to be able to  bless others.

A Blessed Man

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

These words of Psalm 1  bring to mind how we can live a life that is delighting.  It is very good

to catch ourselves when we find ourselves in agreement  with that which is distorted and not

of the character of what is true. It is also good not to stand in the way of blocking the rightful

expression of integrity through ourselves and others. Lastly, whenever we find ourselves scorning

something it is also good to catch ourselves from falling into the destructive patterns of hate.

As we so catch ourselves and stay true to an integrity that allows for the refreshing and renewing currents

of God to move through us we are indeed delighted.  Let us so live!

That I may publish with the voice of…

“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. ”  Psalm 26

Such beautiful words. As our voices are characterized by a feeling of thanksgiving something wonderful does emanate from us.
This emanation does tell the world of wonderful works working through us. Let us so be in such an attitude that the world is filled with a sense of wonder because of our living expression.

A FULFILLING LIFE

In Psalm 132 it says, “I have ordained a lamp for  mine anointed.” What does this mean? Obviously a light for those  who have chosen to be anointed. How does one choose to be anointed? One chooses to be anointed by keeping their integrity in living. As we do a light is given before our ways. We see the steps  needed to take in our living. Sometimes it may be a light given to just one step at a time. As we so move in the way of our integrity taking the steps that reveal themselves by the light cast upon them we move through our lives with grace and assurance. As we so do we provide a light for others. Here we live a fulfilling life.
